INTAMAP developments
The INTAMAP project is a research project funded under FP6, and a considerable new amount of technology has been developed during the project, within all the fields involved. One of the most positive outcomes of the INTAMAP project is the integration of technological and scientific developments in a single integrated system. This section gives an overview over the developments, with references to relevant papers or reports.
Technological developments
The main contributions of the project are in the informatics field, where the INTAMAP WPS represents one of the first operational WPS systems which is able to work with uncertainty. Additionally the UncertML candidate standard was developed.
Scientific developments
INTAMAP has also led to new statistical developments in terms of new methods, including copula kriging, the psgp method, anisotropy detection methods, network optimisation and bias analysis.
