Intamap Clients
Several client applications were built as part of the INTAMAP project. The ones for which source code is available are:
- A java API, that allows you access the INTAMAP WPS more easily from Java programs, or systems that can use Java easily, e.g. Matlab. In particular the API provides helper methods for reading comma separated value files and building the request documents for the INTAMAP WPS.
- A Windows based client, SeeSharp, which provides basic WFS and WPS functionality and allows access to the INTAMAP WPS. This is written in C#.
- A mobile phone based client, that uses a simplified WPS to access the INTAMAP WPS. This low bandwidth interface allows access to advanced interpolation methods, using the INTAMAP WPS, anywhere there is a mobile phone service.
The client applications illustrate the power of the WPS based architecture - several clients with very different interfaces access the same INTAMAP WPS.
